Welder Training & Qualification Testing

We offer specific practical training to enable welders to achieve welder codings. As a fully qualified coded welder the individual will possess the skills and documentation to work in highly regarded sectors on safety critical applications.

All weld tests are carried out by WHE NDT with the mechanical sample testing sent away to UKAS approved laboratories.

Welding Processes

Weld Training Processes

  • Manual Metal Arc Welding.

Commonly used on site due to its versatility and resilience to weather conditions (comparatively).

MMA is a cost effective process for a variety of applications.

  • Metal Inert Gas Welding.

Commonly used in workshops due to high production speed and operator ease once set up.

  • Tungsten Inert Gas Welding

Offers precise control, clean welds, and versatility in working with various metals.

  • Is an easier welding process to learn and is commonly used in thin wall pipe welding installations.

The equipment set up cost and portability are advantageous.

Oxy/Acetylene equipment can also be used to "flame-cut" large pieces of material.
